With the cooperation of the Meiji Hirake Cacao Project Team and Onomichi Vinegar, which has been producing vinegar in Onomichi for over 440 years, we have developed a drink using cacao vinegar, a vinegar made from cacao.
We made two types of drinks using this beautiful pink vinegar, which is delicious even when drunk as is.
Posca is a drink enjoyed by the common people of ancient Rome. It is said to have been made by diluting wine vinegar with water and flavoring it with herbs and honey. We have given this posca a modern twist by using cocoa vinegar.
