SUSTAINABILITY

Fill Up Sustainably / Environmental Initiatives

At CAN-PANY, sustainability and environmental considerations are important guidelines for the entire process, from when our products are made to when they reach our customers and are finally collected. Our efforts to value the blessings of nature and reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible lead to the creation of delicious products and to economically rational, sustainable production activities. This philosophy does not only apply to the manufacturing process, but continues until the product is delivered to the customer and has completed its role.

1. Selection of raw materials

CAN-PANY is capable of small-lot production, and is committed to using manufacturing methods that place less of a burden on the environment by proactively using surplus seasonal produce and unused parts generated during the manufacturing process as raw materials. The raw materials are mainly herbs and medicinal plants grown at the mitosaya herbal garden distillery , and are shipped directly from reliable producers. We simplify distribution routes and reduce the energy required for delivery.

2. Manufacturing and filling technology

Filling technology is an environmentally friendly technology that keeps perishables fresh for long periods and reduces waste. This technology transforms raw ingredients that are prone to spoilage into products with long shelf life that can be enjoyed for a long time. With the support of Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. , a leading company in the can manufacturing industry, we manufacture highly safe contents and accurately measure the amount of remaining oxygen at the time of filling to set expiration dates.

3. Materials used

The glass bottles and aluminum cans used at CAN-PANY are products with a high recycling rate. In particular, the aluminum cans " a-TULC " manufactured by Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. are made using an environmentally friendly manufacturing process that does not use water during manufacturing.
For labels, we aim to keep things simple and use materials appropriately, avoiding excessive printing and wasting materials.
We also strive to reduce plastic by developing and manufacturing our own molded pulp six-can holder for packaging purposes, and we also provide this can holder to other manufacturers.

4. Information Provision

To reduce paper usage, we provide product information online and make it easily accessible via QR codes on product labels.

5. Sales Method

The online shop sells the product in sets of six cans, minimizing resource loss caused by individual deliveries. At the Drink Bar, customers can purchase or sample freshly brewed beverages on the spot, reducing the distance the product travels. By increasing the number of stores nationwide, we are increasing the opportunities for more people to try our products while reducing transportation costs.

6. Product take-back and recycling

DRINK BAR collects used products and packaging materials to promote recycling and proper disposal. We use recyclable materials in our products and packaging to facilitate the recycling process after collection.
