PITANGA TONIC
PITANGA TONIC
Pitanga is a plant native to the tropical regions of South America, also known as Suriname cherry or Brazilian cherry. It is rich in polyphenols and other ingredients, and has long been used as a folk remedy to treat wounds, fevers, digestive disorders, and sore throats. Following the wisdom of the local people, who brew the leaves and drink them as tea, CAN-PANY has made a special "TONIC" from pitanga. TONIC originally refers to a drink with a tonic effect. The original form of tonic water sold today was also drinking water made from cinchona, which was once used to treat malaria. TONIC originally refers to a drink with a tonic effect. The original form of tonic water sold today was also drinking water made from cinchona, which was once used to treat malaria. "PITANGA TONIC" is made from the same tropical plant in South America. Unlike the tonic water we are familiar with, it has a characteristic wild aroma. The mysterious flavor of pitanga is matched with bankan, also known as the Japanese grapefruit. We received some beautiful fruit from Eguchi Farm, an organic citrus farm in Kumamoto Prefecture. Please enjoy the flavor of the mysterious South American herbs and Japanese citrus fruits.
