SUPER NATURAL BASIL&TEA is a herbal drink made only from natural ingredients, a collaboration between travel and lifestyle magazine PAPERSKY , TEA FACTORY GEN , which grows tea without fertilizer or pesticides in the Sera Plateau, the heart of Hiroshima Prefecture, and CAN-PANY.
At CAN-PANY, I was in charge of recipe development, beverage production, filling, and basil cultivation.
This is a blend of Italian basil Dolce Fresca, a basil variety developed by PAPERSKY's Lucas, TEA FACTORY GEN's Seicha tea, which brings out the aroma without rolling the tea leaves, and Hamacha, a sun-dried bancha tea, and squeezed lemons harvested on Ikuchi Island on the Shimanami Kaido. The rich aroma of basil and the deep flavor of the tea. Enjoy this SUPER NATURAL refreshing drink, perfect after cycling, hiking, gardening, or just relaxing at home on a hot day.
